Airaid's Polaris Ranger XP Cold Air Snorkel Kit Offers Power and Peace of Mind

Whether its on the farm or the trails, The Polaris Ranger has proven to be one of the hardest working UTVs on the market. Building off of this stout platform, AIRAID has teamed up with PJ Jones to develop a new Snorkel System for the popular Polaris Ranger 700 EFI & 800 EFI that delivers more horsepower while providing an easy way to keep the engines air intake high and dry.

The Airaid / PJ Snorkel System addresses two weak links in the design of the Ranger: the air box location draws in hot engine compartment air, and the intake location is low, which makes it vulnerable to ingesting mud and water into the engine when things get a little too deep. The AIRAID / PJ roto-molded snorkel relocates the engines air intake to the top of the rollcage, so Ranger owners can attack the deepest mud holes without worrying about sucking debris into the engine. In fact, occupants will find themselves completely under water before the water level ever reaches the snorkel inlet! The snorkel supplies a steady supply of cold air and nests with the factory rollcage. The shape follows the styling of the rest of the UTV for a clean, factory look.

The snorkel assembly attaches to the factory airbox via a specially molded coupler and a 3 diameter silicone hose secured with stainless steel clamps; no one-size-fits-all mentality here! These components were developed specifically for the Ranger and provide an exact fit. The kit includes all of the hardware required for installation along with detailed instructions geared toward the do-it-yourselfer.

This system does not just stop with the snorkel assembly. Good air filtration is critical to an off-road vehicle as dust particles can quickly ruin an engines internals, leading to costly repairs. The AIRAID / PJ system includes a massive cylindrical air filter that is a direct replacement for the restrictive stock paper filter element. The filter is constructed with AIRAIDs SynthaFlow  oiled composite media, which extends service intervals and increases ride time. The filters ends are made of a special blend of urethane that resists cracking or warping over time, and the filter is washable and reusable.
